State police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to hit a trooper with his car during a police chase.
The incident started around 4:30 p.m. yesterday for a possible burglary in Fairview Township. State police arrived on scene, and that’s when 46-year-old Ronald Piper of Butler took off and led troopers on a chase into Armstrong County.
Police say during the chase, Piper saw a trooper on the side of the road who just laid down spike strips. Piper allegedly tried to hit the trooper with his vehicle…
