MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A man is in jail on drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop that led to a brief chase, according to court documents.
Montgomery police arrested Xavion Thomas, 19, at about 7 p.m. Sunday after pulling him over on West South Boulevard. Officers said they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and removed Thomas to conduct a search.
