The newest ShopRite store in Essex County welcomed customers on Tuesday morning with noisy fanfare including a parade and marching band.
The grand opening and ribbon cutting followed a parade from the longtime Sunrise ShopRite location in West Caldwell to the new store just a quarter-mile away.
Some residents stood on sidewalks and waved at the parade en route to 900 Bloomfield Ave.
