TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) — Several employees, past and present, of Oceanside Care Center on Tybee Island have come forward about the conditions at the facility following an investigation by WSAV News 3.
Each story points to allegations of negligence and poor conditions. One woman, who says she’s a current employee, claims the bedbound residents receive the most mistreatment.
“It has been a crap show at that place, and it’s not fair to them,” she said. “When I first got there, it was more like a family. A lot of people were happy. The families were happy, even employees… but as the years went by and with the company changing over, that’s when a lot of issues really start happening at that job.”…
