TOLEDO, Ohio — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has filed a complaint against a Wood County recycling business, claiming that its practices are in violation of environmental law.
Yost’s complaint, which was filed in the Wood County Common Pleas Court on Friday, claims Bates Recycling in Cygnet is engaging in “illegal torch cutting,” a practice that has produced “foul-smelling emissions and a haziness” in the village.
