Madison police release photo of vehicle in hit-and-run crash that hurt cyclist, suspect sought

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police on Tuesday released a photo of a vehicle they said was used in a hit-and-run that hurt a bicyclist earlier this month, as they continue to search for the person behind the wheel.

The crash was reported on Oct. 1, just before 3 p.m., at the intersection of Regent Street and Monroe Street. The bicyclist had to be taken to a hospital for their injuries.

Witnesses told police that a pickup truck had hit the cyclist then drove away…
