Former Loveland Principal Plans To Refile Dismissed Lawsuit

A lawsuit filed by former Lucille Erwin Middle School principal Olivia Gillespie, who was placed on paid administrative leave in March, was dismissed Friday and her attorney said that they plan to refile the case in federal court later this month. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports ust one day after the lawsuit was filed on Oct. 2, Gillespie’s attorney, Skylar Hagen, filed a motion Oct. 3 to withdraw the complaint, and Judge Carroll Michelle Brinegar granted the request Friday, according to court records.
