Festival of Flags to honor local veterans returns to Ringgold in November

RINGGOLD, Ga. — More than 2,000 American flags and memorial crosses will soon line the streets of Ringgold as part of the city’s annual Festival of Flags, honoring Catoosa County’s fallen soldiers and veterans.

The patriotic display will begin Nov. 3 and continue through Nov. 17, with flags placed along Highway 41, Highway 151, and throughout downtown Ringgold.

The city holds the event twice a year — in May for Memorial Day and again in November to mark Veterans Day.
