Growing concern for U.S. cattle ranchers with proposed Argentinian beef deal

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Over the course of two days, approximately 1,000 fourth-grade students from San Patricio County are expected to attend “Ag in the Classroom,” an educational event hosted by the San Patricio County Farm Bureau and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

Jason Nedbalek, chairman of the Ag in the Classroom committee, said the goal is to show children how agriculture affects their daily lives.

“So, it’s a way to get to show them the importance of agriculture in their life, in our community, in our state, and just how important agriculture is to them every day of their life,” Nedbalek said…
