BELLE CHASSE, La. (WVUE) – The legal battle over the Belle Chasse Bridge continues to keep tolls suspended as one attorney pushes for refunds to anyone billed for crossing the bridge.
A new billboard near the Westbank Expressway thanks Gov. Jeff Landry for “suspending the unfair Belle Chasse tolls.” The governor suspended the fee amid claims of construction deficiencies and failure to meet contractual obligations around tolling.
