Belvidere police search for man reported missing for more than a month

BELVIDERE, Ill. (WIFR) – Belvidere police ask for help finding a man who they say hasn’t been heard from in more than a month.

Christopher Luberda, born in 1985 and from Belvidere, was last heard from by family on Sept. 17. He has been entered into LEADS/NCIC as an endangered missing person.

According to police, Luberda is believed to have left his home in his white 2010 Honda CR-V with an Illinois license plate: EG52141.

His vehicle was last seen on a FLOCK camera near the intersection of Manheim Rd. and McLean Ave. in Northlake, driving northbound. Belvidere police say detectives did check the area, but didn’t find anything.

Police tried to get a location from Luberda’s phone, but that was also unsuccessful…
