31-year-old man arrested in connection with deadly Beaverton hit-and-run

BEAVERTON, Ore. (KPTV) – A man has been arrested and indicted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened earlier this month, according to the Beaverton Police Department.

The crash happened at about 8:46 p.m. on Oct. 4 on Scholls Ferry Road near Hall Boulevard.

Police say a driver in a white Audi sedan hit 67-year-old Emmanuel Del Cid and then fled the scene. Del Cid died at the scene.

The car believed to have been involved in the hit-and-run was found on Oct. 8, according to police. The owner of the car, 31-year-old Taylor Ray Willan, was arrested at a home in south Beaverton on Oct. 13…
