RAVENA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Delmar resident was arrested on Saturday after allegedly stealing from Walmart and Market 32. Erin Sokolowski, 47, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

The Bethlehem Police Department responded to the Walmart in Glenmont just before 4 p.m. on Saturday for a reported theft, but said the suspect had left prior to officer arrival. Not too long after, a member of the Albany County Sheriff’s Office reported locating the suspect in Ravena and stopped the vehicle.
Police recovered stolen merchandise from Walmart and Market 32 before arrested Sokolowski. Sokolowski was arraigned and released under probational supervision with a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday.
