The man accused for his role in a vicious attack by several dogs that left a man dead is expected to face a judge on Wednesday
According to the Albany Police Department, on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at around 5:55 p.m., officers responded to the rear yard of 594 Central Avenue for reports of a male being attacked by several dogs. Upon arrival, they observed the dogs fatally attacking the man. In an attempt to stop the attack, one of the responding officers discharged his duty weapon, striking at least one dog.
James Provost, 60, of Schenectady, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Omar Daniels, 44, was indicted in Albany County Court for one count of Manslaughter 2nd, one count of Criminally Negligent Homicide, and three counts of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals…
