Known for their innovative tailoring to the student community — with $2 Tuesdays and a 3 a.m. closing time being especially popular — NYPD is nothing short of an Ann Arbor staple. In an interview with The Michigan Daily, co-owners Giovanni and Domenico Telemaco spoke about the business’s long-lasting relationship with the town.
“In Ann Arbor, all the little mom-and-pops, they’re disappearing,” Domenico said. “The fact that we’re still a mom-and-pop is very appreciated in this town. We do things in a different way than the chains.”…
