Customers can give any amount of money to the campaign when they check out, including amounts as low as $1. The donations will go to Feeding America food banks near each store. In Erie, the money will go to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania.

Linda Lovejoy, community relations manager for Wegmans, said that the campaign helps food banks all year. “This campaign not only provides our local food bank partners with funding as we head into the busy holiday season, but it also supports their programs throughout the year,” Lovejoy said.
