EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Burdette Park in Vanderburgh County is changing the way people camp in tents.
According to Vanderburgh County Commissioners, the park is permanently closing 11 campsites. on November 1. Officials say the decision comes after ongoing safety concerns, high maintenance costs and reports of illegal activity.
