Over 400 artists to attend Grand Rapids Tattoo Festival

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Oct. 24 through Oct. 26, visitors to DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids can attend the third annual Grand Rapids Tattoo Festival, an all-ages event with over 400 participating artists or vendors.

“It’s a cool way to get all of the incredible tattoo artists from Grand Rapids and from Michigan together under one roof,” Quinn Hurley, director of operations with the Grand Rapids Tattoo Festival, said.

Over the weekend, guests will be able to meet tattoo artists from around the world, enter into six different costume contests and shop around for what could be a brand-new tattoo.

“It’s the absolute best place to come and get your first tattoo,” Hurley said. “You can kind of window shop in a way that you can’t do anywhere else.”
