MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is now in jail after police say he fired shots at a man he lived with, injuring him in South Memphis on Tuesday evening.
Deandre Campbell, 31, is charged with criminal attempt first-degree murder, convicted felon in possession of a handgun, employment of a firearm with intent to commit a felony, and reckless endangerment — deadly weapon.
Officers say they responded to a shooting call at a home in the 200 block of Adolphus Avenue just before 4:30 p.m. A man at the park, which was next door to the home, was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his left side.
He was then taken to the hospital in critical condition.
