HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Horry County police have arrested a Longs man who allegedly drove multiple people away from an SUV after it was set on fire with a 20-year-old man still inside, according to an arrest warrant.
Jayveon Nylek McCaskill, 20, was arrested on Friday and charged with accessory after the fact to murder in the Oct. 4 death of Stony Floyd Jr. of Loris, whose body was found in the back seat of the Mitsubishi Outlander. McCaskill remains in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $75,000 bond.
According to the warrant, McCaskill and other individuals followed the Mitsubishi in McCaskill’s Hyundai Genesis to the area of Bullock Trail and W. Bear Grass Road, where individuals from his vehicle and the driver of the Mitsubishi set the Mitsubishi on fire. McCaskill then allegedly drove them away from the scene…
