Wake Forest commuters can expect changes starting next month as GoTriangle adjusts its routes. Route WRX will transition from GoRaleigh to GoTriangle, offering all-day service between Wake Forest and Triangle Town Center, along with peak express trips to Downtown Raleigh, according to the Wake Forest.
Starting Sunday, Nov. 9, Route WRX will offer hourly service from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Morning buses will depart Wake Forest for Raleigh Union Station Bus Facility (RUS Bus) at around 5:40 a.m. and 6:40 a.m., with return trips from Raleigh at about 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Outside peak hours, GoRaleigh’s Route 1 at Triangle Town Center will provide service to Downtown Raleigh every 10 minutes.
Mayor Vivian Jones of Wake Forest, and member of GoTriangle’s Board of Trustees, conveyed her enthusiasm for these upcoming adjustments.
