Ohio AG seeks end of ‘torch cutting’ practice at local business over environmental concerns

CYGNET, Ohio (WTVG) — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has filed court documents seeking to shut down a northwest Ohio recycling facility accused of polluting the air and endangering public health.

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has received more than 40 complaints about Bates Recycling in Cygnet, according to court documents filed in Wood County Common Pleas Court.
