DHS: Measles outbreak ends in Oconto County with 36 confirmed cases

(WFRV) – Wisconsin state officials have announced that as of Tuesday, the reported measles outbreak in Oconto County is considered to be over.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, DHS officials, along with officials from Oconto County Public Health, are not expected to report any further measles cases related to the recent outbreak.

An outbreak is said to be considered over once it has been over two incubation periods (42 days) since the last confirmed case was reported.
