Jackson, MS – The National Weather Service in Jackson has confirmed three tornadoes touched down across portions of Mississippi and Louisiana during the storms late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
According to the NWS, survey teams identified an EF-1 tornado near Hunters Bend, Louisiana, with peak winds estimated at 105 mph. The twister, which struck around 7:45 p.m. CDT on October 18, traveled 3.9 miles with a maximum width of 350 yards. No injuries or fatalities were reported…
