SWANSEA, Ill. — As the government shutdown drags into a third week, the men and the women in the military continue to go without pay, but a local business owner is working to ensure they don’t go hungry.
“I know what it’s like,” Soulcial Kitchen owner John Michel said. “We expect our men and women in the military, when their nation needs them, they come and answer the call.”
