AIRWAY HEIGHTS, WA – The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is investigating a one-vehicle rollover crash that left three adults injured early Wednesday morning, one with life-threatening injuries.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies, Airway Heights Police, and Cheney Police responded around 1 a.m. on October 22 to the intersection of West Hallett Road and South Mayflower Street. When first responders arrived, they found a 2004 Ford F-250 on its side after crashing into a home and causing significant structural damage.
Officials say the male driver, who was ejected from the vehicle, suffered possibly life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. A female passenger sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while a male passenger—believed to have been wearing his seatbelt—was treated and later released. A dog in the truck was also ejected and found deceased.
Investigators believe the driver was impaired and driving recklessly at the time of the crash. Deputies obtained a search warrant for a blood sample to determine the driver’s blood alcohol content…
