NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The North Charleston Police Department has arrested a man following a fight involving a knife Tuesday evening.
Gabriel Avila-Bautista, 22, is charged with first-degree assault.
Police responded to a reported disturbance on Stall Road of two men fighting at 11:13 p.m. Upon arrival, they met with the suspect, who said it was “just two friends fighting,” according to jail records.
Additional officers arrived on scene and met with the victim in who told them that Bautista dropped off some clothes that belonged to him before they got into a heated argument over Monday’s arrest, in which the victim was arrested for possessing a gun that he says allegedly belonged to Bautista…
