Volkswagen Chattanooga workers divided over contract offer amid call for union vote

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Team members at Chattanooga’s Volkswagen plant appear split over the automaker’s final contract offer for the United Auto Workers (UAW).

A group of employees joined local leaders Wednesday in calling on the UAW to hold a vote on the offer.

But union leaders say that offer does not go far enough.
