Memphis Police Seek Six Suspects After Violent Robbery and Carjacking on Beale Street

The Memphis Police Department is currently on the hunt for six individuals involved in a violent robbery that occurred in the early hours of October 12th in Downtown Memphis. The incident, which took place around 4:00 a.m. on Beale Street near Peabody Place, left a man stripped of cash, car keys, and his phone before his assailants made off with his vehicle, a white 2022 Dodge Charger, as reported by Action News 5.

According to the Memphis Police Department, the attack was the result of a confrontation after unwanted advances were made, leading to this vicious assault. Upon arriving at the scene, officers also found that four women had been similarly attacked and robbed. The assailants, subsequently capturing the man’s Dodge Charger, were later spotted fleeing the area, with the vehicle being recovered on October 15th, as FOX13 Memphis states.

In an effort to locate the suspects, the MPD has released footage of the individuals believed to be responsible for the crime. They are calling on anyone with information to come forward, offering a relay through CrimeStoppers for anonymous tips. “If you have any information that could help police, call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH,” a plea extended by the Memphis Police in a statement, echoed by WREG News.
