The Miriam Hospital breaks ground on $125 million renovations

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The Miriam Hospital in Providence broke ground Tuesday on a $125 million renovation project that will feature a modernized emergency department with expanded capacity.

The hospital said the project will also include adding single-occupancy inpatient rooms and other campus-wide infrastructure upgrades.
