SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento families who rely on federal housing vouchers won’t see disruptions to their rental subsidies for now, despite the ongoing federal government shutdown.
Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency officials say they will continue to provide rental subsidies to over 13,500 families who rely on them to keep a roof over their heads.
“Our main goal is to continue uninterrupted operations with minimal effect on residents and the community, particularly when many families are having difficulty making ends meet with the current state of our economy,” the agency said in a statement…
