Corpus Christi Animal Care expands comfort upgrades, seeks more volunteers

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Animal Care Services is getting a major facelift as part of the city’s midyear budget adjustment, with construction aimed at improving comfort for both animals and staff.

City officials said five roofs have already been replaced across the facility, and work will begin in February to install a new HVAC system in Kennel Three. That area includes two separate sections, one with 20 kennels and another quarantine area with 20 more.
