CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Independent School District has received a Superior Achievement Rating from the Schools FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) program for the 23rd consecutive year, according to a district announcement.
CCISD officials said the recognition represents the highest form of achievement in governmental accounting and financial reporting. The district earned a score of 96 out of 100, resulting in an “A” rating. The announcement was made during the Oct. 20 Board of Trustees meeting.
