Green Bay updates its comprehensive plan, but balks on key affordable housing proposal

The Green Bay City Council rang in the city’s future on Oct. 21, unanimously adopting a roadmap for the next quarter century of development, though with some appetite for modifications.

It then paused on a key objective of the just-adopted Go Big Green Bay 2050 Comprehensive Plan and voted 8-4 to hold until the next council meeting an overhaul of the city’s zoning laws for housing affordability’s sake.
