JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Halloween events and trick-or-treating are happening this month! Attorney Patrick Wooten with Richard Schwartz and Associates says Halloween is considered the deadliest night for children under the age of 18. Wooten says most of the accidents happen at night in the streets and involve vehicles. Parents and guardians should always walk with their children, carry flashlights and use reflective gear, and look both ways when crossing streets.
