SHAWNEE, Kan. (KCTV) – Police are knocking on doors in the middle of the night, but they’re not there to make arrests. They’re trying to save residents from thieves who are targeting open garage doors.
It’s a call coming from multiple agencies in the metro. Shawnee police posted on social media that a citizen reached out, thanking officers for one of these middle-of-the-night wake-up calls.
