STL approves $2.8M to help tornado victims rebuild

ST. LOUIS – Months after the May tornado ripped through parts of St. Louis, recovery continues for families still struggling to rebuild.

The city’s board of Estimate and Apportionment voted to approve more than $2.8 million dollars in contracts to help tornado victims. It’s funding everything, from blankets and cots to debris cleanup and FEMA cost recovery.

Alderwoman Shameem Clark Hubbard is one of many hit hard by the tornado’s devastation.
