Man spends 64 years looking for woman in Utah’s oldest missing persons case

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — In the summer of 1961, 15-year-old Denise Sullivan and her mother, Jeannate, both of Connecticut, took off on a road trip to Utah with Jeannate’s boyfriend, Charles Boothroyd.

On July 4, the trio met a man near Dead Horse Point, 17 miles outside of Moab.

The stranger spent two hours telling them the history of the area as they took pictures. He drove off in his tan sedan without mentioning his name…
