PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — A high-ranking Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) detective has been charged with two counts of vehicular assault following an off-duty DUI crash earlier this year that injured two people, authorities announced Wednesday.
Major Chadwick “Chad” Brooks Dickerson was charged Oct. 22 by Pierce County Prosecutor Mary E. Robnett in connection with a July 12 crash that investigators say happened while he was driving under the influence.
