Akron Ohio Man Convicted of Felony Drug Offense

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Wyoming County Prosecuting Attorney, Derek Laxton, announced that Lucas Alexander Robinson, 20 years old, of Akron, Ohio pled guilty on October 21st, 2025, to the felony offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver Oxycodone. Robinson will be sentenced onDecember 10th, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Wyoming County Circuit Courtroom.

Robinson’s sentencing exposure is a potential one-to-fifteen-year prison sentence.

Cpl. Tucker Cook of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office was the lead investigator in the case. On August 16th, 2025 in the Lynco area of Wyoming County, Cpl. Cook conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in which Robinson was the driver. Cpl. Cook eventually recovered controlled substances, including oxycodone, and a significant amount of cash from the vehicle. Robinson took ownership of the controlled substances located in the vehicle after being administered his Miranda warning…
