Man arrested in Trona for Ridgecrest shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man was arrested in San Bernardino County after leaving a victim with major injuries in a shooting in Ridgecrest.

Officers with the Ridgecrest Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of West Reeves Avenue for the report of shits fired on Oct. 14 around 3 p.m.

Investigation showed, the victim of the shooting was taken to the hospital by friends. The victim sustained major non-life threatening injuries as a result of the shooting.

The suspect was identified as Felipe Hernandez, 45, of Bakersfield. It was believed he fled to Trona, according to police…
