Cincinnati man accused of trying to gouge trooper’s eyes during attempted robbery arrest

DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. (WKRC) – A Cincinnati man is accused of setting up an attempted robbery of a seller on Facebook Marketplace during a meeting in Dearborn County.

Gregory Lucas, 20, offered cocaine, marijuana and $4,500 for a van on sale through the social media site, according to Prosecutor Lynn Deddens. The seller agreed, set up a meeting at the Amoco station in St. Leon for Sept. 17 and called Indiana State Police.
