FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) — A male victim is dead after a shooting at a residence on South Lafayette Street in Fort Wayne, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD).
Just before 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Fort Wayne officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 3500 block of South Lafayette Street. Officers arrived and found a male victim inside a home suffering from a gunshot wound. The male victim was transported to a local trauma hospital by ambulance.
