Case of deadly minivan crash into assisted living facility sent to grand jury

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A Knox County grand jury will hear the case of a woman who is accused of killing a man by crashing into an assisted living facility with earlier this year.

On Wednesday, Eleasah Williams, 24, appeared in court for a preliminary hearing. She was charged with a single count of vehicular homicide following a crash in June. The case was bound over to a grand jury, who will determine if Williams will be indicted.
