Man charged with threatening mass casualty event in downtown Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 53-year-old man was arrested after he was accused of threatening to run over pedestrians and shoot Metro officers in downtown Nashville last week.

Metro police reported officers were alerted to videos circulating on social media by Phillip C. Anderson Jr., of Goodlettsville, on Thursday, Oct. 16.
