Darien police accuse man of redirecting worker’s paychecks to his bank account, police say

DARIEN — A New Jersey man was arrested last week after an investigation found he allegedly redirected paycheck’s from an employee at a business in town to an account in the name of a dead man he controlled, police say.

Darien Police say Quam Tobiloba Olatunji, a 23-year-old from East Orange, was charged with second-degree larceny and first-degree identity theft. They said he turned himself in to police on Oct. 16.

Court records show he has been released on a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court in Stamford on Nov. 6…
