Savannah residents and visitors should expect traffic delays on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Several large events are scheduled in the city. The Savannah State University (SSU) Homecoming Parade will begin at 9 a.m. No parking zones will be enforced starting at 12:01 a.m. The parade route starts on East Broad Street at Liberty, moves north to Broughton Street, west to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, and south to West Gwinnett Street. It will end at May and Anderson Streets. Parking restrictions and traffic changes will affect Downtown Savannah. Vehicles parked in no parking zones may be towed.
Other events will also impact traffic. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place in Daffin Park from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pride Festival 2025 will be held in Forsyth Park from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with setup starting at 7:00 a.m. Wag-O-Ween is scheduled for Pulaski Square from noon to 6:00 p.m., with some activities continuing into Sunday, October 26.
