Get ready everyone, Texas is about to have a cold front and just about all of Texas will see high temperatures plummeting as we head into the weekend. That doesn’t mean you will need a winter coat or that you’ll need to turn on a heater. But it does mean fall-like temperatures.
Cold Front Heads For Texas
The high in Lubbock on Wednesday is expected to be around 84 degrees. On Thursday, clouds move in and the high temperature will be around 80. Friday we will see temperatures around 77 and then on Saturday, highs in the upper 60’s to low 70’s with a chance of rain. Break out the crock-pots and get ready for a lazy day on Saturday I say!
DFW will also see temperatures in the low 70’s on Saturday and upper 70’s on Sunday. Even the folks in Austin will see thunderstorms and high temperatures around 78.
It Will Be A Short Lived Cold Front
Temperatures are expected to rebound by the early week, but then by Wednesday another cold front will make its way to Texas. Halloween could see a high of 72 in the Lubbock area…
