Sheriff’s office seeking additional information after woman killed in hit-and-run crash

WELD COUNTY, Colo. — The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is seeking additional information about what led up to a fatal hit-and-run crash last weekend.

Talia Rodriguez, 20, was on foot when she struck and killed around 1:42 a.m. on Oct. 19 at Weld County Road 60.5 and Weld County Road 47 near the Greeley-Weld Airport.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash was initially reported as a hit-and-run, but the driver was later located and arrested. Jose Temoxtle, 18, faces multiple charges including vehicular homicide-DUI, leaving the scene of an accident involving death, and failure to report an accident…
