On the evening of October 22, 2025, Aurora Police responded to a fatal crash on East Colfax Avenue near Laredo Street. An adult man was hit and killed by a GMC SUV while crossing the street. The driver left the scene.
Police used Flock Safety cameras and the Real Time Information Center to identify the suspect. Officers arrested 32-year-old Daryl Murray at a Denver address.
